Set against the untamed beauty of the Brisbane River, this St Lucia pool renovation doesn’t whisper transformation—it declares it. Once a weary 60,000-litre shell shared by residents, the pool is now a sanctuary — a luminous retreat that reflects both sky and soul. Clad in Jewels 4 Pools FLO50, the new interior dances with light, glistening beneath the sun by day and echoing the sparkle of riverside lights by night. Hawaii mosaic waterline tiles, in a refined 300 x 300 format, lend a soft tropical lilt, while a surround of Mon Storm stone with clean pencil edging anchors the scene in elegant restraint. Ardex Magellan grout provides the final note — crisp, modern, and quietly confident.
But this transformation didn’t come easily. Beneath the surface, demolition revealed the removal of tied and outdated mosaic tiles — a relic of overcompensation that added days of careful deconstruction. And working within a unit complex brought its own layers of negotiation managed successfully by our client liaison ‘Brad’, with body corporate approvals and resident coordination at the forefront of the project.
